Aguaespejo is a monthly show on Radio Alhara started in 2025.
At a time when dominant narratives threaten to fragment the rich and common identity of the Mediterranean, AGUAESPEJO emerged naturally for me as an urgent cultural and sonic affirmation. In this radio project I hope to amplify the region’s unique soundscape, directly fostering new imaginaries that honor the interconnectedness of its shores.
Navigating through archival research, immersive field recordings, a deconstruction of tradition, and contemporary experimentation and sound art, each chapter aims to reactivate active and conscious listening across the region.
